The PHOENIX ISOFIX 360° Rotate car seat (Group 0+/1/2/3) combines all 4-stages into one Child Restraint System from Birth to approx.10 years.
The seat is installed in the vehicle using the ISOFIX points in your vehicle, as well as the Top Tether belt on the car seat. The Top Tether belt is attached to the L-shaped base of the Car Seat, so when installed in the vehicle, the seat can freely rotate either Forward or Rearward facing without interference from the tether belt.
It can be used as an extended rear facing seat with the Isofix and & Top-Tether installation.
The internal Harness adjusts automatically as the head support is moved, for correct positioning of the child. Therefore, no re-threading of the harness is required.
The seat is initially installed in rearward-facing mode from birth through to approx.4 years old (up to 18kg) using it as “Extended Rear Facing” mode – this is widely considered to be the safest way for your little one to travel.
There is also the option to turn the seat forward facing from 9 to 18kg using the internal harness, should you choose, but we would recommend keeping the seat and child rearward-facing to 18kg.
Once your little one reaches approx.4 years old (18kg), rotate the seat to forward facing as a Booster seat using the vehicle seat belt until 36kgs.
There are 4 recline positions, one position while rearward-facing and 3 positions while forward-facing, so you know your little one will always be comfy in their seat.
The seat has a padded comfort pad which can be removed when no longer required.
There is side impact protection built into the side of the seat which provides extra security for the head, body and hips.
