Shopping online with Safeway is safe and secure and we offer a range of delivery options through one of the South Africa’s most reliable couriers.

We deliver to all mainland South Africa addresses, as well as remote areas.

Please read the information below to help you understand our range of delivery options and to make sure that there is an option and cost that suits you before you order online.

If our supply of the products is delayed by an event outside our control, then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. We will not be held liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.


Delivery options

Standard Delivery - FREE delivery nationwide

Our standard delivery service will ensure that your goods arrive at your delivery address by courier within 1 to 7 working days of placing the order (some exceptions apply - please see below). In the majority of cases where orders are placed before 1pm, the delivery will be made at an unspecified time on the next working day. For clarity, working days are Monday to Friday and do not include weekends or public holidays. Standard delivery for all orders is FREE.

Delivery exceptions may include, but not limited to, the following :
